# PitchGenius for HubSpot, buyer notes kept on each contact.

Connect HubSpot with OAuth, the same login flow HubSpot uses for any connected app, and import your contacts as buyers. After a call, a push from the deal page or Sync All writes PitchGenius notes onto the matching HubSpot contact: the buyer details, the precall plan, the postcall readiness read, the MEDDPICC gaps and the Buyer Index, each one only when that data exists. Push again after the next call and each note is edited in place, so the contact timeline does not fill with copies.

Write-back

## What syncs

- Into PitchGenius: a HubSpot contact's email, name, job title, company and phone, when you import the contact as a buyer.
- Into HubSpot: notes on the contact. The postcall note holds the readiness score out of 100, the readiness state, the confidence, the deal risk, the primary and secondary blocker, the next best action and the follow-up subject.
- Every note opens with its own header line, for example "PitchGenius Postcall Update". A later push finds the note by that line and edits it in place.
- Notes a rep typed on the deal arrive as separate HubSpot notes, one per entry.
- Sync All, in Settings, pushes every eligible opportunity in one pass. An opportunity is eligible once it is linked to a HubSpot contact.

Boundaries

## What doesn't sync

- No HubSpot property changes. Contact and deal fields stay as your team set them.
- No edits to notes your team wrote. PitchGenius only touches a note whose first line is its own header.
- No deal stage, amount or owner moves. The pipeline stays exactly as your team set it.
- No import of HubSpot's own notes or emails into PitchGenius.

No connection

## Without a connection

No live connection? Export a CRM Update Pack, a zip with two CSV files, Property\_Update.csv and Notes\_Import.csv. Keep the match column named Record ID. HubSpot’s importer uses it to find the existing deal, and a different header makes HubSpot create a duplicate deal.

Access

## Permissions

HubSpot's own consent screen lists the exact scopes PitchGenius asks for at connect time. PitchGenius reads contacts and deal pipeline stages, and writes only its own notes.

Questions

## Frequently asked

### 01Does PitchGenius work with HubSpot?

Yes. Connect it in Settings with OAuth, then import HubSpot contacts as buyers and push a readiness note back to each contact after a call.

### 02What does PitchGenius write into HubSpot?

Notes on the contact, each starting with a header line such as "PitchGenius Postcall Update" and each updated in place on the next push. It never changes a HubSpot property.

### 03What happens without a HubSpot connection?

Export a CSV pack instead, with a Record ID column HubSpot's importer matches to the right deal.

### 04Can I disconnect HubSpot later?

Yes, in Settings. HubSpot keeps PitchGenius in its list of authorized apps until you also remove it there.
