Best Real-Time Sales Coaching Software in 2026

Eleven tools read on their own sites, sorted by what the live cue is made from, with what each does during and after the call, its published price status and who it fits.

Key takeaways

  • 01The best tool depends on where your team sells and on what the live cue is made from, and the entries follow no ranking.
  • 02Every one of the eleven tools says it helps during the call, and they differ in what appears on the rep's screen and where the cue comes from.
  • 03In a live demo ask what the cue is made from, how many seconds pass after the buyer's last sentence, whether it can stay silent and what the manager sees afterward.
  • 04Salesloft, whose page now also serves the former Clari Copilot, lists real-time AI guidance and live battlecards but does not say what the cue is made from, so it sits outside a list sorted by that.

The best real-time sales coaching software depends on where your team sells and on what the live cue is made from. Revenue.io suits Salesforce teams, Avoma and Outreach suit teams that want a live layer in a platform they already pay for, Cirrus Insight suits Salesforce teams that want the live price in public, Convo suits reps who want a bot-free overlay at a public price, Balto suits contact centers, Trellus suits outbound dialers, Cluely suits one person, and PitchGenius suits B2B reps who want the buyer read before the call.

We build PitchGenius, so the entries below follow no ranking, and each entry says when a rival is the better choice. Vendor facts come from each vendor's own site as of October 1, 2026.

The table sorts tools by the cue on the rep's screen and does not show what happens between calls. PitchGenius keeps one Buyer's Blueprint per deal, the live coach tests it against what the buyer says, and the post-call analysis rewrites it, so the next call opens on what the deal still has to learn. That cycle is the Intelligence Loop.

What does the rep see, and where does it come from?

Every tool here says it helps during the call, and they differ in what appears on the rep's screen. The vendors' own sentences sort them by the source of the cue.

Figure 1
Tool What the cue is made from, per the vendor As the vendor describes it
PitchGenius Changes in the buyer's own language and behavior A cue only when the buyer's signal changes, with the evidence for it, and it can stay silent. Solo is $299 a month, and readiness writes back to HubSpot, Pipedrive, Salesforce and GoHighLevel
Balto A knowledge base Answers pulled from a knowledge base in real time
Cirrus Insight Your knowledge base and collateral Answers retrieved live from your own material, and discovery tracked against your own framework
Avoma Answer cards for objections Battle-tested answer cards for objections
Outreach Battlecards and content cards Live battlecards and real-time content cards
Convo The conversation, plus prepared responses Live Assistant reading the conversation every few seconds, and Instant Cues that surface prepared responses
Revenue.io Fields in the CRM Notifications triggered by Salesforce field values such as deal stage and buyer role
Gong An analysis of the call Insights flagging risks, next steps and coaching opportunities
Cluely A general assistant, no sales material named Real-time answers during any meeting
Trellus Not stated, customizable Customizable AI research and realtime coaching
Jiminny Not stated, no detail given Real-time whisper and guidance

Source: each vendor's own pages, linked in its entry below, such as Balto, Outreach and Cirrus Insight, fetched October 1, 2026.

Method and limits: the middle column sorts each vendor's own sentence, following Convo's test, fetched October 1, 2026.

Convo's published test, whether a tool reads the conversation or matches keywords you scripted in advance, is the reference this table builds on, and it keeps that split while naming the source of the cue vendor by vendor. A knowledge base or a card library helps with the objections someone predicted. A CRM field helps with the stage a deal is in. A framework helps with coverage of discovery. Changes in the buyer's own words help with the person on this call. None of the sentences above gives a measured delay between what the buyer said and what the rep saw, so ask for it.

What should you ask for in a live demo?

  1. What is the cue made from, and who writes or approves that material?
  2. How many seconds pass between the buyer's last sentence and the cue, measured on your call channel?
  3. Can it stay silent, and what does the rep see when it has nothing to say?
  4. Does it work on the channel you sell on, meeting, phone or dialer?
  5. What does the manager see afterward, and where does it land in the CRM?

Revenue.io

What it does live. Its Moments page describes a real-time conversation assistant, with notifications triggered by Salesforce field values such as deal stage, campaign, buyer role and industry.

What it does after the call. Its homepage lists a predictive dialer, sales engagement, conversation intelligence, AI summaries and deal health.

Published price. None. The pricing page says a custom quote is built on a demo call, across three tiers.

Fits. A Salesforce team with at least 15 seats that wants one vendor, and a poor fit for anyone on another CRM. Head to head.

Avoma

What it does live. Its Conversation Intelligence page lists a Live Answer Assistant that helps reps handle objections in real time with answer cards.

What it does after the call. It records, transcribes and summarizes meetings, and its pricing page lists CRM sync to Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, Pipedrive and Copper.

Published price. Yes. A recorder seat runs from $19 to $39 a month, viewers are free, and Conversation Intelligence adds $29 a month per seat, billed annually, so the lowest pair is $48 a month.

Fits. A team that wants to add capabilities one module at a time. Head to head.

Cirrus Insight

What it does live. Its pricing page lists Live Coaching under the headline answers retrieved live from your own material, where an open question in the call is answered from your knowledge base and collateral, and it adds that discovery is tracked against your own framework.

What it does after the call. Meeting Capture records the meeting across every platform and produces a transcript, summary, audio and video.

Published price. Yes. Live Coaching is $125 a user a month and requires Meeting Capture at $39, so the pair is $164 a month at list price, before the term discounts the page publishes.

Fits. A Salesforce-driven team that keeps its answers in a knowledge base and collateral library and wants to price the live part in public. It sits in the same class as Balto, answers from your own material.

Convo

What it does live. Its homepage says the Live Assistant analyses the conversation every few seconds and turns what it notices into a next move while the call is still live, and its features page says Instant Cues surface prepared responses. No bot joins the call, and a compact overlay runs on your computer.

What it does after the call. Its pricing page lists post-call feedback in the Professional plan, and post-call summaries in Starter.

Published price. Yes. Starter is $22.49 a user a month and Professional, the plan that lists the Live Assistant, is $52.49, both billed annually, with Enterprise custom.

Fits. Reps who want a bot-free overlay at a public price, and the closest in shape to PitchGenius. Convo is compared with PitchGenius row by row.

Outreach

What it does live. Its Kaia page says it joins and records live meetings, captures real-time transcription and delivers live battlecards, and the Amplify Plus package lists live content cards.

What it does after the call. The same page lists post-meeting transcriptions, summaries, action items and insights.

Published price. None. Its pricing page asks you to reach out for custom pricing that combines seats with AI credits.

Fits. A team whose reps already work in Outreach, since the live part ships with the engagement platform.

Gong, which says insights arrive in real time and describes no line for the rep

What it does live. Its conversation intelligence page says insights are surfaced in real time, flagging risks, next steps and coaching opportunities. The page describes no line delivered to the rep to say mid-call.

What it does after the call. It records and transcribes every call, meeting and email, then analyzes them for topics, objections, competitor mentions and buying signals.

Published price. None. Its pricing page says licenses are priced per user with a platform fee, and a form asks for team size.

Fits. A revenue team that wants the analysis and a deal view across calls. Head to head, and the longer comparison in Gong alternatives for in-call guidance.

Balto

What it does live. Its homepage says Agent Assist gives agents answers to customers' questions in real time, pulled from a knowledge base, and that it reviews interactions in real time to flag risks and alert supervisors.

What it does after the call. Its homepage lists auto-scoring of every interaction for quality and continuous compliance monitoring with a complete audit trail.

Published price. None. The homepage has a Book a Demo button.

Fits. A regulated phone floor. A seller preparing a multi-stakeholder deal gets less from knowledge-base answers than from a read of the buyer. Head to head.

Trellus

What it does live. Its pricing page lists customizable AI research and realtime coaching in the Business plan for teams.

What it does after the call. The Business plan lists team-based analytics and conversational intelligence.

Published price. Partly. Individual dialer plans are $99.99 and $149.99 a month, and the Business plan with the realtime coaching is custom priced.

Fits. An outbound team that works from a dialer. It reads as a phone product, so a seller running 45-minute discovery calls on video should test it before assuming a fit.

Cluely

What it does live. Its homepage says it takes meeting notes and gives real-time answers, and that it never joins as a bot.

What it does after the call. The meeting notes.

Published price. Yes. A free Starter plan on its pricing page, Pro at $19.99 a month or $11.99 billed annually, and a higher Pro plus Undetectability plan.

Fits. One person on any meeting. It names no CRM, so a manager sees nothing from it. Head to head.

Jiminny

What it does live. Its Gong-alternative page lists coaching reps live on calls with real-time whisper and guidance, with no detail on how it works.

What it does after the call. Its homepage describes recording, transcribing and summarizing, then syncing data to the CRM and creating follow-up actions.

Published price. None shown, only a 14-day trial with no credit card.

Fits. A team that wants a recorder with live whisper listed and a trial before a quote. Head to head.

PitchGenius

What it does live. A desktop overlay listens to the rep and to the meeting on two separate audio streams and offers a single suggestion per moment, only when the buyer's signal changes, and it can stay silent.

What it does after the call. A diagnosis scores five dimensions with verbatim quotes and names a primary and a secondary blocker. Managers get a coaching report built on follow-through, the share of shown suggestions a rep used.

Method and limits: sample data, no customer result.

Source: PitchGenius product demo, chapter 4, the first frame of the recording, cropped from the 1,920 by 1,080 recording and enlarged to 580 by 400 pixels.

Method and limits: the card shows that the live cue runs from the desktop app, and the frame carries no cue itself.

Published price. Yes. $299 monthly with a 7-day trial, or $3,289 annually. Readiness writes back to HubSpot, Pipedrive, Salesforce or GoHighLevel.

Fits. A B2B rep on a long deal. It has no published latency figure, no competitor benchmark, no customer results table, provisional manager bands, and a desktop app with no browser extension.

Which well-known tools are not on the list?

  • Chorus by ZoomInfo, see PitchGenius vs Chorus for its sourced facts and Alternatives to Chorus for the move away from it.
  • Salesloft and the former Clari Copilot, whose page lists real-time AI guidance and live battlecards without saying what the cue is made from.
  • Sybill, whose pricing page lists pre-meeting briefs, meeting summaries and an Invisible Recorder, and no live guidance. Head to head.
  • Attention, whose own site says it records and analyzes sales conversations, then deploys agents for follow-ups, CRM updates and coaching scorecards. Head to head.
  • Outdoo, whose homepage describes AI roleplay for rehearsing conversations before the first live meeting, plus call scoring. It improves the rep before the call, which is a different job.

If any of these ships live coaching, this list is where it would be added. Prices side by side are in what real-time coaching costs next to a recording tool.

Frequently asked questions

What is real-time sales coaching software?

It gives a rep guidance while the call is running, such as a battlecard, an answer or a suggested question, instead of a report after the call, as Live Buyer-State Intelligence defines it.

How is it different from conversation intelligence?

Conversation intelligence records and analyzes calls for review. Several vendors sell both, and pricing pages list them as separate modules or add-ons.

Which tools publish prices?

Avoma, Cirrus Insight, Convo, Cluely and PitchGenius among the eleven listed here, and Sybill among the others. Revenue.io, Outreach and Gong quote after a form or a demo, Trellus publishes dialer plans but quotes its coaching plan, and nothing is listed for Balto or Jiminny.

Do I need a CRM for real-time coaching?

Not for live help, since Cluely names none. You need one when a manager wants the read to land in the deal record.

Which is best for a small team?

Revenue.io aims at 15 seats and up, so smaller teams should compare Avoma, Cirrus Insight, Convo, Cluely and PitchGenius on real monthly cost per rep.

How current is this list?

Every vendor fact reflects its own page as of October 1, 2026, and each link goes to that page. The rows on each /vs page carry their own checked dates.
